My fiancé and I walked in for some warm coffee. The husband and wife were very welcoming. We ordered 2 coffees, mine was hot and he wanted a cold one. In the middle of the wife making mine he asked if he could change his to hot. She said no problem and don’t worry about the charge because she already cashed us out. We sat inside to drink and it felt very cozy to us as if we were at a family members house. I enjoyed this place and I’d love to try there food next.
Stay away from this place. Absolute hell. Threw their nasty food directly in the trash where it belongs. I sat in their lobby for thirty minutes and observed as angry customers attempted to get a refund with no success. The owners would then argue with the customers and yell at them until they would leave. It was quite entertaining actually, you don’t see service this horrible nowadays. Sad excuse for a coffee shop. 1 Star review is being gracious.
The scenic train leaves you in town for 2 hours so we were wandering around finding a nice place sit when we spotted this location. It had a great outdoor patio overlooking the river and their coffee and lattes are excellent. Our group enjoyed the hot beverages and the wonderful view so much we almost missed our train!
Food way over priced! Ordered a corned beef sandwich to go and they gave me a half eaten sandwich and left over Turkey. Drove all the way home went back and they didn't even offer a refund or freshly made sandwich just apologize for mixing the boxes up. I'm sorry but that is just wrong and disgusting. On the other hand the sandwich I ate was okay. Just disappointed they did nothing to make it right.
The owner was beyond rude! After paying over $9 for sub par coffee I was sitting doing my homework inside when he walked over to me and said that the only way I could stay in the store is if I bought more coffee. After explaining to him that me sitting there was good publicity for his store, he refused to listen and simply said I had to buy more coffee because I was using up their wifi. Also while I was sitting in the store he multiple times pressured customers to buy drinks or food even when they didn’t seem interested. I usually wouldn’t leave a review, but the service I received was truly absurd. I will not be returning and do not recommend it to any visitors to the town.
